Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Guidelines

Peer review, a cornerstone of academic publishing, ensures the integrity and quality of articles through evaluation by qualified peers. Acquire Publications follows a double-blind peer-review model, where both the reviewer and author remain anonymous, minimizing biases and focusing on the content's merit.

Key Aspects of Peer Review:

  • Scope: Assessing article suitability for the journal.

  • Novelty: Ensuring originality and uniqueness.

  • Validity: Evaluating study design and execution.

  • Data: Verifying data accuracy and interpretation.

  • Clarity: Assessing the clarity and logical expression of ideas.

  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to ethical and journal standards.

  • Advancement: Gauging the article's contribution to the field.

Peer Review Process:

  • Manuscript Examination: Managing Editor checks for completeness and compliance.

  • Editorial Evaluation: Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editors assess submissions for fit and relevance.

  • Editorial Review: Subject-area expert editor reviews for potential advancement.

  • Peer Review: Two subject-matter experts conduct reviews considering geographical focus and methodology.

  • Final Decision: Editors decide based on reviewer reports.

  • Author Communications: Authors receive constructive feedback throughout the process.

Guidelines for Conflicts of Interest and Confidentiality:

  • Conflicts of Interest: Editors and reviewers disclose potential conflicts and recuse themselves if necessary.

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts are treated confidentially, maintaining participant anonymity.

Appeals Process:

Authors can appeal editorial decisions by submitting an appeal letter within seven days to the editorial office at info@acquirepublications.org. Each manuscript is allowed one appeal, with the Editor-in-Chief's decision being final.
